Lawyer/Founder Joseph T. Moen

Joe provides representation to clients in complex litigation, arbitration, and business disputes, including individual and class action lawsuits for unpaid wages, consumer fraud, and claims for breach of contract, in both state and federal courts. In his litigation practice, he has been appointed co-lead counsel in multiple class action lawsuits and successfully recovered millions of dollars in unpaid wages on behalf of thousands of employees, including one of the top 20 Wage and Hour violation settlements in the United States for 2020.

In his business law practice, Joe provides entrepreneurs, start-ups, and established businesses with practical solutions to legal problems, including real estate leasing and purchases, zoning and land use, applications and licensing, contracts, limited liability companies, corporate entity formation, corporate governance, LLC operating agreements, regulatory compliance, and employee agreements. With over a decade of experience advising some of the largest multi-state cannabis operators in the United States, Joe has a deep knowledge of the cannabis industry and enjoys guiding companies through both new and mature cannabis markets.

Attorney Moen has previously volunteered his services to indigent clients subjected to illegal housing discrimination and sub-standard living conditions. Prior to becoming an attorney, Joe spent nine years in the restaurant industry.
